Abstract :

This analysis is particulary intersested in the issue of reconciling household chores and the professional obligations of woman workers at Regideso/Goma. This article notes that this phenomenon constitues a delicate effort for the woman who must not only take care of the children but also contribute to the development of her household following the income from her work.History is recording the advance of laws encouraging equlity between men and women. DRC is on the heelsof this revolution. Nevertheless, we observe in the province, cities and territories that the distribution of domestic tasks remains unequal between the sexes. Based on social surveys carried out on woman workers at Regideso/Goma, this reflection first highlights the problems in reconciling professional obligations and household requirements, then the implications of these problems for their work and finally make an overview of the strategies to be implemented in order to eradicated these obstacles. This study also shows that woman are investing more than more in the labor market, but this new reality has not upset the traditional division of labor, on the other hand, men, for their part, have not invested in the field of the domestic.
