📝 Abstract
The consistent power failure that has become a chronic social malady which has put business activities in jeopardy is overcome by introducing improving power system compensation using passive compensator and facts controller. To perfectly achieve this, it is done in this manner, characterizing and establishing the causes of power failure in power system compensation, designing a conventional SIMULINK model for power system compensation, designing a SIMULINK model for passive compensator, designing a SIMULINK model for and facts controller, developing an algorithm that will implement the process, designing a SIMULINK model for improving power system compensation using passive compensator and facts controller and validating and justifying the percentage improvement in the reduction of causes of power failure in power system compensation with and without passive compensator and facts controller. The results obtained are the conventional equipment power failure in power system compensation is 30% that cause persistent power failure in the country. On the other hand, when Passive compensator and facts controller is incorporated in the system, it automatically reduced the percentage of power failure to 27.39%.The percentage improvement in the reduction of power failure in power system compensation that boost consistent power supply in the system is 2.61%, The conventional improper design or installation power failure in power system compensation is 15%. Meanwhile, when Passive compensator and facts controller is integrated in the system, it reduced the percentage of power failure to 13.69%. However, the percentage improvement in the reduction of power failure that has arisen as a result of improper design or installation when Passive compensator and facts controller is incorporated in the system 1.31%, The conventional external factors power failure in power system compensation is 35%.while when Passive compensator and facts controller is incorporated in the system, it became 31.95% thereby enhancing constant power supply in the system and the conventional Control system issues power failure in power system compensation is 7%. On the other hand, when Passive compensator and facts controller is integrated in the system, it become s6.39%. Finally, percentage improvement in the reduction of power failure that triggered consistent power supply in the system is 0.61%.
