Employee job satisfaction is a critical determinant of organizational effectiveness, employee productivity, and workforce retention, particularly in the manufacturing sector where human resources play a vital role in achieving operational excellence. The present study, titled "Analysing the Factors Influencing Employee Job Satisfaction: A Cross-Company Study within Bangalore Paint Sector," aims to identify the key workplace factors influencing employee job satisfaction, examine the relationship between workplace factors and employee satisfaction, and compare job satisfaction levels among selected paint companies in Bangalore. The study adopted a descriptive research design using both primary and secondary data sources. Primary data were collected from employees through a structured questionnaire, while secondary data were obtained from books, research journals, industry reports, and reliable online sources. A convenience sampling technique was employed, and the collected data were analyzed using percentage analysis, frequency distribution, comparative analysis, and graphical representation with the support of Microsoft Excel. The findings indicate that employees are generally satisfied with workplace factors such as compensation, work environment, leadership support, teamwork, workplace safety, career development opportunities, and job security. The study also reveals that these factors have a positive influence on employee job satisfaction and contribute to higher employee commitment and organizational performance. However, continuous improvement in employee recognition, communication, and career advancement initiatives can further strengthen employee satisfaction. The study concludes that effective human resource practices and a supportive work environment are essential for improving employee satisfaction and achieving sustainable organizational growth within the paint industry.
