Medicinal plants have been an essential part of India’s healthcare traditions, especially in systems like Ayurveda, for many generations. Various plants such as neem, tulsi, aloe vera, turmeric, and ashwagandha are known for their beneficial properties, including healing, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and immunestrengthening effects. They have been widely used in traditional practices to support health and manage several common ailments.Studying these valuable plants highlights the need to protect India’s diverse flora and encourage the responsible use of natural resources. Continued research can help confirm their medicinal value and support the development of safe and effective treatments. Conserving medicinal plants and increasing awareness about their importance will help preserve traditional knowledge and promote better health in the future.
