📝 Abstract
Digital commerce has changed how consumers search for information, compare alternatives, evaluate offers, complete transactions, and obtain products or services. Convenience is a central feature of this environment because digital channels can reduce the time and effort required during several stages of the consumer decision process. This paper examines the role of convenience in digital consumer decision-making through a literaturebased conceptual analysis. Key dimensions considered are access, search, evaluation, transaction, possession/post-purchase convenience, and digital convenience. Prior studies indicate that convenience can influence online shopping intentions, attitudes, satisfaction, and behavioural responses, although the relative importance of dimensions varies by context. The paper proposes a conceptual pathway in which convenient digital features reduce perceived time and effort, improve the shopping experience, support evaluation of alternatives, and strengthen purchase-related responses. The paper also discusses implications for digital marketers, including mobile usability, search and filtering, simple payment, delivery visibility, and post-purchase support. Because no primary survey dataset was supplied, the results in this draft are based on selected published studies rather than invented respondent data. The framework can be tested later using a structured questionnaire and statistical analysis.
