📝 Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become an important technology for modern organizations and is changing the way Human Resource Management (HRM) activities are performed. AI-based systems are increasingly being used for recruitment, candidate screening, employee performance management, training and development, workforce planning, employee engagement, attendance management, and HR analytics. The purpose of this research paper is to examine the impact of Artificial Intelligence on Human Resource Management and employee management. The study focuses on how AI can improve the efficiency, accuracy, speed, and quality of HR activities while also examining challenges such as employee privacy, data security, algorithmic bias, lack of technical knowledge, fear of job displacement, and reduced human interaction. Recent research shows that AI has applications across recruitment, performance management, personalized training, and employee engagement. A 2024 scoping review of AI-enabled HR recruitment research identified benefits, challenges, and different AI functionalities within HR processes. For the purpose of this model study, a descriptive research design is used with an illustrative sample of 100 respondents. Data are presented through percentage analysis and interpretation. The findings indicate that respondents generally perceive AI as useful for improving HR efficiency and decision-making, but they also believe that human supervision, transparency, privacy protection, and employee training are necessary for responsible implementation. The study concludes that AI should not be considered merely as a replacement for HR professionals. Instead, it should be viewed as a supporting technology that can automate repetitive activities and provide data-driven insights while HR professionals continue to handle human-centered activities such as communication, empathy, conflict resolution, leadership, and organizational culture.
