Page(s): 557-567
Abstract

The goals of this paper are (1) to discuss Industry 4.0 in detail and (2) to suggest political consequences for Thailand's shift towards Industry 4.0. Enterprises should take Industry 4.0 very seriously, since traditional production company models do not match the evolving Industry 4.0 technologies, as they develop their future projects. Rapid developments in industrialization and information technology have led to enormous advancement in creating production technology in the next generation. The Fourth Industrial Revolution is now under way. At this time, the absence of strong instruments is still a significant barrier to exploiting Industry 4.0's complete potential. For the realization of Industry 4.0, which presents distinctive difficulties, formal techniques and system techniques are particularly important. In this document we examine briefly the state of the art with regard to industry 4.0.In order to effectively convert the Thailand sector into sector 4.0, (1) the strategies implemented by central government to create financial and social systems that can react in a flexible manner to the changes need to be refined and elaborated; (2) a certain kind of operational scheme must be established that maximizes the efficiency of projects and policies.

Analysis Factor of Customer’s Decision in Choosing an Indonesian Restaurant from Service Quality Perspective
Author(s): Wahyu Priambodo, Siti Azizah
Page(s): 568-576
Abstract

Culinary business such as restaurant is a promising opportunity in Taiwan in relation to the migrant workers from Indonesia who definitely yearn for special foods from Indonesia. However, service quality is one of important factors in making decision to purchase meals in a restaurant. Objective of the research was to analyze variables, which become factors that encourage consumers in making decision to buy meals at the Indonesian restaurant in Kaohsiung City. The research took 100 respondents as representatives of consumers in the restaurant. Data of the research was primary data, which was derived from questionnaires. There were 20 variables, which were observed using factor analysis as analysis tool. The obtained data was processed by computer using SPSS 23 program. Results of the research showed that there were three factors, which had been formed in the research that included social communication, restaurant environment, and guarantee on both products and services. Social communication showed the highest Eigen value, 10.383; restaurant environment was 1.348, and guarantee on both products and services were 1.047. Therefore, it showed that communication between employee and consumer highly affect on decision-making to purchase and it was followed by the atmosphere in the restaurant, as well as guarantee on both products and services..

Measuring the Effectiveness of Educational Technology
Author(s): Fatema Akbar Mohammed Ali Wihdat
Page(s): 577-644
Abstract

This research sought to explore the importance of ET to teachers and learners within the context of language learning. The research used both qualitative and quantitative research methods to collect and analyze both primary and secondary data. Preliminary research was done by ways of conducting a test to ESL students. The test was aimed to compare a mean of ET vs. the traditional way. Research Self-administered surveys to students as well as classroom observation were used to gather primary data. Secondary data was gathered by way of reviewing documents from previous studies. Survey Monkey analysis was used for quantitative data while meaning condensation and meaning categorization were used for qualitative data analysis.

Electronic Waste impacting Health and Environment, Its Management -Global & Indian Perspective
Author(s): Dr. Anju RatheeAhlawat
Page(s): 645-649
Abstract

Use of electronics equipment and their disposal is increasing exponentially with time. The disposal of equipment is in proportion to obsolescence which in turn is linked with adoption of new technology. It has attributed around 10 % growth in e-Waste in India. Recycling of e-Waste through environment friendly means is utmost need of the day. Still in India, instead of using standardised technology based methods in recycling, it is carried out by using primitive means which are extremely hazardous and spoiling the environment. Development of an ecosystem comprising adequate legislation, restrictions on hazardous substance (RoHS) , cost-effective technology based recycling solution, awareness to all stakeholders general public on electronic waste is to be ensured and full proof management practices warrantying environment protection and eco-friendly manufacturing and recycling are to be adopted.

Bayesian Decision-Making with Weighted Risk Management for Human Resource Management
Author(s): H. Sriphanphet, Dr. S. Somkhuarnpanit
Page(s): 650-653
Abstract

Many of risks occur during the human resource management. During the time of recruitment and post-recruitment, HR needs to predict the events where risks occur of which decision can be made like selection, strategic planning, and training. These criteria vary between conditions ranging from sociology, health condition, degree of uncertainty, avoidance, and sequence of actions as a matrix in Bayesian decision model. The Bayesian decision-making (DM) framework includes risk identification, decision choices, outcomes of decisions, and described losses from HR risk. In this paper, the weighted risk management is developed from the existing context of HR risks. The weighted risk will be evaluated in term of losses and the mathematical modeling of the decision making scheme is made.

Author(s): Ngwe Kyar Su Khaing, Soe Soe Kyaw,Nwae Oo Htike
Page(s): 654-660
Abstract

In this paper, an important mathematical concept which has many applications to the probabilistic models are presented. Some of the important applications of the moment- generating function to the theory of probability are discussed. Each probability distribution has a unique moment-generating function, which means they are especially useful for solving problems like finding the distribution for sums of random variables. Reproductive properties of probability distributions with illustrated examples are also described.

Author(s): Kyaw Thet Lin
Page(s): 661-667
Abstract

In this paper, the definitions and examples of topological spaces are expressed. Some topological spaces; namely, T1-spaces, Hausdorff spaces, regular spaces and normal spaces are discussed with some examples. The theorems which exhibit alternate of defining a topology on a set, using as primitives the neighborhood of a point and closure of a set are stated. Very simple characterizations of topological spaces are studied.

Author(s): Ammad Khan
Page(s): 673-676
Abstract

Modern day times as mediated by information technology have eased the way people interact, especially as mediated by computers, mobile gadgets and through telecommunications. Video games is great educational potential, and same popular in every age of group(Suhaib, 2018), Also, through the rise of social interactivity through social media, the world has been reduced to a global village and in the same note accelerated the freedom of expression. Nevertheless, a myriad of societal issues has developed, arisen by this adage of information technology. As a result, this paper would like to succinctly preview cyber bullying as one can recount from this adage of information technology. To highlight this, this paper will take account of previous cases as reported in the media and analyse its impact. Also, through the various postulated methodologies recommend an apt manner through which authorities and the society at large can deal with this menace.

A Design Calculation for Single Phase Step Down Transformer
Author(s): Chingangbam Ajita Devi, Chandam Thoisana Singh
Page(s): 677-681
Abstract

This paper presents a design of a step-down transformer for supplying electrical power of output 10KVA, 250V and operating at a frequency of 50Hz. A precise calculation is made in designing the transformer such as window size, core area, thickness of yoke, number of turns and wire thickness of LT winding and HT winding, efficiency and overall transformer size such as length, width and height. The accurate calculation will give more efficiency of the transformer. High efficiency transformer is needed for good performance and to avoid the power loss. Power loss is high in low efficiency transformer.

Keyword: shell type distribution transformer, LT winding, HT winding, window size, core area, thickness of yoke.
